Hotel Gaja

Although the furnishings were rather worn, the hotel had both comfort and charm. It is located just across a bridge from the grandiose Prussian-built part of town, is conveniently close to the train station (which adjoins a huge shopping center) and lies only 2 km from the renaissance city square. I walked the whole of the center city in 3 days while visiting many gripping historical museums and absorbing magnificent architecture.

A very pleasant, inexpensive hotel. My room overlooked the old zoo in Poznan in a quiet neighbourhood. The roads nearby were a bit noisy in the morning (it was a warm summer so the window stayed open). The staff were first class. Don't expect minibar or multi TV channels in the room etc. My only concern that the was no bar available (although one was listed). All in all a good experience.

Nice hotel, not far from the center. No aircondition.

Gaja was quite nice Polish hotell. Neigborhood was quiet and close to city (1,5km).

Great hotel, great staff, great location

Our experience was very good. The room was spaciuos, clean and decorated nicely. The decor of the facilty was nicely done with a lot of artwork. The staff was very helpful. The location is conveniently situated 15-20 minutes from the airport by public bus and 15 minute walk to the train station. Outside our window was the zoo park which is mostly a park now and very quite.

A simple hotel with very helpful, friendly, English speaking staff. Very near the train station and several key tram and bus connections. If like me you will be at the Targ (exhibition center), it is only a few hundred meters away. The central square is only a short ride or leisurely walk. Rooms are simple, but comfortable. The buffet breakfast is fine and the restaurant not bad. All this for a very competitive price. This is my second time here and will stay again if visiting Poznan.

On the first look the hotel looks as good standard but there are small details, like the repair crew wasn't well enough paid. The service was good then again the surrounding is not that great, it's located on a side street and there is no view from reception on the street - you get approached by strangers with no reaction from reception.

Small hotel within minutes from train station and short ride from airport. Friendly, English speaking staff and comfortable accommodations. Within walking distance to Old Town. Recommend.

Excellent value for money, would visit again!
