The Glen Mhor Apartments

Had space. Parking was available. Other apartments were in a better location.

The apartment was next to a busy road with the bedroom and main door opening straight into traffic. As a serviced apartment we expected some service - there was none. The bed and the sofa bed were uncomfortable- the sofa bed mattress way too thin. The bathroom shower head was broken.

Apartment and the bathroom was very cold in August I cant imagine the apartment in the winter,ground floor apartment with no view (not worth the money)no cleaning when we stayed 2 nights, bedrooms were very small. The apartment was not ready when we arrived after 16:00 tired after travelling. Parking was difficult to find on the other side of the road and full.

We had 2 small children, our apartment was on the first floor, bit of a hassle getting buggy in and had to make a temp stair gate

The hotel restaurant was excellent; both for dinner and for the buffet breakfast. The breakfast was really good and at a great price. The location was also very convenient; we could walk to many restaurants and to the train station as well as to our tour meeting place. The layout of the two bedroom apartment was very nice.

The beds themselves need an upgrade. They were clean but not very comfortable as the mattresses were very well used and broken down. Also, I had phoned ahead to ensure that one of the bedrooms had two double beds separated which wasn't the case when we arrived. Housekeeping was sent down and we did have them setup the sofa bed which we would NOT recommend either.

The location was great and the onsite brewery was a plus.

Our bed was terrible. It was like sleeping on a hill as the mattress was completely worn out. I requested assistance every day and was told the manager would come and look at it for a solution but he never did. We stayed 2 nights and I requested the assistance both days. At checkout I told the staff the manger never came to our room to help with the bedding situation and they said he would call me or email me. I write down my cell and email for her and it has been 4 days since and the manager has made no effort to contact me. I requested some credit on the bill for this issue as we did not sleep for 2 nights. I was told the manager would coach me in that regard and like I said he never has.

My family loved the location and restaurant on site!

Our apartment was not ready in time for check-in and it was quite a bummer after a long day of travel.

Location of our room, temperature of our room, view of our room, lack of cooking pots/pans for a full kitchen room.

So they have a hard checkout time of 11 am. If you get late , they will charge you 20 pounds for each hour delay, which is completely fine but they will not tell you about this policy until you are late for checkout. A person will come at your door at 11:15 am and tell you that you will be charged 20 pounds an hour. If you have such strict rules for checkout atleast give a heads up when customers check in
