"Excellent"

Very clean and nice but no people working onsite felt odd. Good gym. Expedia gave us wrong code initially to get in so beware of that. No human at a front desk but lovely place otherwise.

"Worse experience in Brussels ever"

Left this hotel with a severe skin condition that had to be medically treated and my medical practionioner attributed to insects or parasites. Customer service of no help at all, just claiming they checked the room and found no bed bugs.

"Disappointing experience"

Numa Lief stay in 2 rooms for 5 nights. Unfortunately not the best experience. The digital style of hotel is not something we would do again. We were initially put in an incorrect room for what we had booked and it took many WhatsApp messages to sort this out (not a good use of our time while on holiday). Our room privacy was breached 3 times using the code system to enter. Twice by housekeeping and once by another guest who was as shocked as I was to enter my room when I was there on my own. Again there were many WhatsApp messages required about these separate incidents.

"totally recommended"

everything was great, no keys, just a pin to get in, super clean rooms. coffee and tea in the room. The mattress and the pillows were excellent. it was only 10 minutes walk from the Grand Place, so that was super convenient. the was no cleaning service, but if you needed something you could simply ask.

"Strict No-Cancellation Policy for Guests, But They’ll Cancel on You Last Minute"

This property enforces a strict no-cancellation policy for guests—you can’t cancel even weeks in advance without losing your money. Yet they have no problem canceling your booking at the last minute and leaving you completely stranded. I booked well in advance and received several confirmations via WhatsApp about my stay. On the day of my arrival, they canceled my booking via email just hours before check-in. The email looked like spam, and when I tried to confirm through WhatsApp (their primary communication channel), they completely ignored me. When I finally reached someone, they refused to assist further, saying everything had to be handled by Booking.com. NUMA took no responsibility for the situation they caused, leaving me to spend five hours in constant communication with Booking.com, trying to secure alternative accommodation. By then, most affordable hotels were fully booked, and I was placed in a far more expensive hotel, miles from my conference venue, and to make matters worse, the room had bed bugs, which I didn’t find out until I was severely bitten. NUMA’s so-called “gesture of goodwill” was allowing me to cancel a future booking without penalty—something Booking.com had already assured me they would allow since I had such a bad experience with them. This is not goodwill; it’s basic decency. If everything goes well, this property might be fine, but if there’s any issue, they will abandon you entirely. I would never recommend this property to anyone who values reliability or professionalism.
