Numa Brussels Lief

Beautiful, quiet hotel located a 5 minute walk from the city centre. If you’re looking for a chilled hotel that feels like it’s all to yourself this is it. The rooms are spacious with possibly the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Terrible digital check-in experience. numa brags about it only taking a few minutes; we spent 45 trying to get a hold of customer service, getting them to find the hotels.com reservations and give us pins for the door. Would not recommend booking -- at least not through hotels.com if you'd like to even get through the front door and out of the rain when you arrive at your hotel Room was clean enough. No cleaning during stay.

This is a digital only hotel. If you book through Hotels.com the check in process is horrendous because you need a number from the hotel to get in and Hotels.com doesn’t give it to you. You have to call up a call centre in India to get the check in link and then fiddle around on outside the hotel trying to photograph your passport in order to get in. If you have any other issues the only way to resolve them is through engaging with a completely useless chatbot

The Numa Lief is an all digital hotel. There are no staff on site. In order to get the system to work for you, you need a booking number from the hotel which you can then use to get the code. If you book via an intermediary such as Hotels.com you won't get this vital number and you have to call a dismal call centre in india to get you checked in which involves finding a suitable place to photograph your passport on the street outside in the rain. Don't go here if you want any feeling of hospitality. It is really just an automated Airbnb without the character.

I had a highly disappointing stay at Numa LIEF in Brussels, and I strongly advise against choosing this hotel. During my stay, four packages from Amazon were delivered to the hotel, but I never received them. Amazon confirmed that the packages were accepted by the hotel staff. Several days after I checked out, the hotel emailed me to say they had my package. I asked them to send it to me, which took a month to arrive, and only one of the four items was included. On top of that, I had to pay 300 shekels for the delivery! The customer service was atrocious. When I complained about not receiving all my packages despite being told they had sent them, they responded by providing an old tracking link for the package I had already received. Additionally, the room I was given initially had a terrible odor, and I had to request a room change. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The combination of poor customer service, lack of accountability, and low standards of cleanliness made for an extremely unpleasant experience.

Great location.

Really enjoyed the digital check-in, great not having to carry round key cards. Room was modern and clean and super practical in a great location just a few mins from the centre and next to some great cafes. Support on WhatsApp also worked very well, room was available early

Great location for walking to nearby attractions, nice quiet neighbourhood with a good choice of cafes for breakfast. Room quiet, comfy bed, clean and good shower - but no room service at all during 3 x night stay to empty bins, replenish water etc.
