Chateau de Chissay

Staff was slightly on the cold side, almost unfriendly. Lack of wifi in the room is big draw-back. No luggage cart. BUT Loved the food - restaurant was awesome. Great location! We had a wonderful stay!

The chateau is beautiful and we had a good stay. It is not great value for money compared to other places we have stayed. The service was quite mixed. Rooms are large and comfortable but probably overpriced. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

Very nice stay at Château de Chissay. We were there only one night but the staff made sure to make our stay memorable.

We had an hour delay at check-in which was annoying. Also the staff were very nice but didn’t seem enough of them service a bit slow. Setting, hotel, room and swimming pool were exceptional. Would recommend

Wonderful place in a great location, close to Chateau Chenonceau. Staff is wonderful and very accommodating.

Everything met expectations. We were in what was previously the stables and fantastic size bedrooms right adjacent to pool.

Good stay , very quiet room , good breakst , excellent dinner but limited menu if there more than 2 nights ( were there for 4 )

Great setting as it is a chateau. Their restaurant is also in a fantastic setting with great ambience. Their cot wine (malbec)was one of the best. But the food was a bit of a let down with wrong pairings. We had charles 7th menu.The smoked salmon and dill amuse bouche too salty ( even for me who loves salt ). Pike perch with green lentils - another wrong pair (fish was done very well though so I ate the fish) Chocolate with gold leaf fantastic. Although the overall experience was great, only 3 stars for food am afraid

If you want to experience a glorious chateau in the Loire Valley, the Chateau de Chissay is a great choice. Very removed from the hustle and bustle of Paris. A wonderful break.
