Gleneagles Guest House

A lovely little place. Great location only five minutes walk from the station and one minute from the promenade. Neil and Jacqueline, the hosts, were very helpful and accommodating and had great local knowledge. Breakfast was huge, quickly served and delicious. The room had everything described and was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay the walls are quite thin tho. But everything else was really nice thank you for the lovely experience

The guest house is only about w00 metres away from the beach. The location is quiet apart from early morning seagulls! The room was adequate and the breakfast was great AND served piping hot. The owners are delightful and are keen to help and advise. The husband is a golf fanatic and the guest house aptly named. We will certainly be staying there when we travel down to meet with family next year, if we can get a booking..

Our hotel hosts Neil and Jacqueline,were so welcoming and friendly, They would help you out with any issues you may have and also give any local information about what to do in the area. The breakfast at gleneagles was lovely,and you got a choice of what you wanted. I will definitely be passing on this hotel to friends,it's about 200 yards from beach and 10 min walk from town centre,lovely sea the water is so clear and the beach is sandy.

BUDGET B&B. USUAL BREAKFAST ADEQUATE FOR THE DAY. COMFY ROOM BUT MINOR REPAIRS NEED DEALING WITH. BATHROOM FITMENTS RUSTY. STAIR CARPET COULD DO WITH A CLEAN. LOCATION VERY GOOD FOR BEACH. EASY WALK ON PROM TO PAVILION AREA.

Couldn't fault for cleanliness in the rooms, the host was very pleasant and friendly. Nice breakfast. Only issue was parking can be difficult later in the day.
