The lunch menu was lovely and staff helpful. Check in was easy and grounds are attractive. The robes and slippers were of good quality.

Lack of aircon in treatment rooms, smell of stale urine around outside area of restaurant/bar, outdoor chairs need seat cushions, no aircon in bedrooms, only a small fan provided for 2 adults sharing a room, swimming pool was vey run down with multiple missing tiles, badly kept grate round pool and no toilet paper in toilet at pools. The outside sunbathing area didn’t feel luxurious or spa like. One member of staff was very rude when people tried to make last orders (even though they’d just called for them), there was no ice available for drinks on our check out day as they had “run out”. Shower in spa treatment room didn’t drain and had a bad smell.

Love the chilled atmosphere you can lounge by the pool, bar, restaurant or walk around the stunning ground. Also has some interesting spa facilities

The staff and facilities were brilliant.

Had food delivered to the room and we were not very impressed. A bit too much sauce on the burger and the burger was dry. I fell over by the smoking area too. Caught my foot on the edge of one of the paving slabs. A bit bruised but no real injuries. Not the hotel's fault at all but just wanted to make people aware of trip hazards

We had a twin. Really liked the layout of the room. The view from the terrace was lovely and the gardens were beautiful. The walls weren’t paper thin, so I didn’t need to use my ear plugs. We both enjoyed our lunch. Staff at lunch and dinner were friendly and helpful.

The room was very warm. On the top floor we had to prop the door open to cool the room at night time. I can imagine the room being unbearable in hot weather. It would be great to have some infused water stations. The bog standard water fountains alone didn’t feel very four star. While we mostly enjoyed the food, it was quite expensive and the restaurant could do with some updating.
