Kinnaree House

Koh Phi Phi is a beautiful island but does not have it's own water supply only what can be bought in. Therefore water is recycled and the supply is not good! The main town where this guest house is can be very noisy until 4 in the morning. If you want a quieter stay go to the outer beach resorts.

This was much better than what I expected after reading the reviews. Our room looked exactly like the photos and it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It is a bit noisy at night because of the bars around it but the music stops at about one am and the location was soo good we didn't mind it. The wifi was a bit of a let down but I am finding out that is common in Thailand. Overall for what is on offer in Phi Phi I found it to be good value for money and would stay again.

The location is good if you want to be close to everything. Short walk to party beach not great for swimming but you can hire a kayak. Short walk from the pier. (No one from the hotel will meet you, but it's not hard to find if you ask) If you prefer a beautiful beach then stay on Long Beach. The room is very basic and has a slight smell of damp but it's fine for a few days. Great AC, wifi ok but not great. (Banana bar & pirate bar had great food and wifi) View points charge so take money.

Room with no windows, 105, only has window into hallway. Very damp all the time. Lots of mosquitos in the room. Broken hanger for showerhead. Almost no room to put away clothes.

The hotel location is central and easy to access from the pier. As expected in a party town, it was loud every night from bar music nearby. We had no interaction with staff other than to receive & return our key. Reception is not staffed at night which allowed some very loud guests to be disruptive. Not really even a step above a hostel, except we had private rooms & bathrooms.

Great accommodations for the price. Loved the stay and John, the receptionist, was very friendly and helped us book our day yours for a really good deal (make sure you haggle). The location is superb as it is within a drunken stumble of the beach front festivities while staying far enough away so the noise does will not keep you up in case you're taking a night off from the debauchery.

The staff was very honest with our stuff and helfully, fair with the prices of the tours and so friendly which is something that tourists in the island must apreciate because in general the thai people in phi phi were unfriendly and always they looked angry.

Fab location. Decent for money but super nosey in the night!

TV cable didn't work. could unlock room with credit card. unsecured hall way random people wandered into it. local bars speakers rattled Windows/door till 1 am on a weekday. I stayed in $7 USD hostels that were cleaner and had better amenities.

It was pleasure staying at this location. centrally localised and accessible to all things around.
