Kinnaree House

it was a comfortable stay. my room seemed a little outdated than the pics shown here. there are frequent power cuts, cant blame them coz they are on an island. there are convenient stores and eateries nearby. not very near the party place, thus not much noise at night. the only thing i disliked is that they are strict about the check out timing, and do charge for even an hour overstay. they will just deduct from your deposit and return the rest.

It is my second year in a row that i stay in this hotel really nice

Nice location, really center of the island and all nightlife. The bad thing is we had the last room, there was a link in the sink. and the room really small, just enought to put our bags

When we arrived to the reception we soon discovered it was not actually the hotel, and we had to lug our suitcases back the way we came and up a steep flight of stairs to get into the room. The aircon did not work even though it was on, and even though we had it on the lowest setting it continued to leak and our room was hotter than outside. The rooms did not get cleaned or changed whilst we were there. The power also cut out during our stay, but the wifi is pretty good. Aside from all this it was one of the cheaper places on Phi Phi as everywhere on Phi Phi is so much more expensive than the rest of Thailand, so when drunk it did the job for needing a place to crash and it was clean when we got there. It was in a pretty good location although everywhere on phi phi is in walking distance but the noise from the nightclubs was minimal. If I stayed on Phi Phi again would either suck it up and pay the money to stay in a nice place, or would stay in a dorm room. Wouldn't come back.

Good location, close to bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk from the boat pier. Aircon worked which for the money was good as others just had a fan. Bed was comfy. Relatively clean room. It can be a bit noisy at night because of the load music from the bars close by, this goes on until about 1 am, but it's not unbearable and we still slept fine. On the whole decent hotel on a budget.

The AC unit was old, noisy and broken. location is very good if you want to be close to the main walking street area. with that comes that there will be some noise during the night, nothing major but you can hear a bit of thumping. the staff did not even bother with changing the soap bars in the shower so there was a used soap bar in the shower.

Noisy at all hours of the day, so bring some earplugs if you plan on heading to bed before midnight. Good value for the price, and centrally located.

The room was clean. The staff was nowhere to be seen because our room was not infront of the reception! Anyway you dont really need any help to get around in phi phi so it was perfect.

Bed is comfy. Air conditioning works. Shower is hot. Room was pretty clean. Comes with fridge and TV. Lots of plug sockets. Everything you need to sleep and wash.
