Weekend in Jersey with friends (two couples). Room #1 was OK but located on top floor of the annexe with very basic fittings (1 cupboard) and small TV on the wall. Room #2 was located main building on 3rd floor which was OK but again was very basic. The service was very good in general and the breakfast and evening meals were beautiful - couldn't fault the food, just disappointed with rooms.
The hotel is in an excellent location with very good facilities. I had a single room although the furniture was a little dated the bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast was very good with a very wide choice on offer. The staff were very friendly and worked tirelessly to keep the very busy restaurant moving. The pool and gym were very quiet and again very clean. There was always somewhere to park. The hotels location is very good although walking is best as parking in St Helier is a bit of a nightmare. Overall a wonderful hotel.
15 minutes walk to the beach, great place to stay and staff were very helpful. Good breakfast, though i had to wait 10 minutes to be seated when it opened as there was a queue of people. But the breakfast made up for it.
Excellent stay at the hotel different from breakfast hotel need to provide more options for vegetarian and people that do not eat pork but a really good stay at the hotel
Near enough the town centre to walk into. All room facilities clean and working.
Standard of service from all the staff was first class. Excellent breakfast. All very clean. Room in older annexe was lovely but suffers from road noise (needs secondary double glazing). This is the reason for not giving it an ‘excellent’ rating. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from St Helier town centre. It also has parking which is a bonus
The Bedroom needed some bedside drawers. The bathroom could do with a extra shelf, very limited where to put things.
Room was small and looked onto a wall. Also bathroom quite basic in terms of shower etc. Food at dinner time was very mediocre.
We were initially booked at the annex which could do with some refarb fortunately we were quickly upgraded after the managers approval thanks to the nice lady at the reception.Robert was always very hopeful aswell. The hotel is quiet, location good as close proximity to town I also appreciate that we were allowed to check out alot later as we had an afternoon flight back home, overall pleasant experience with exellent hospitality will definitely come back again Thanks for a great experience notfolk lodge hotel.
