Breakfast is good and the ladies serving it are really nice and friendly! The room was ok, there wasn’t lift so if you struggle to do stairs (we were in second floor) maybe it’s not for you. Clean and tidy, really good location.
Can't really fault the place at all. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a good state of repair and decor. The exceptionally clean indoor heated pool was a bonus. The breakfast bar was well stocked with cold and hot options. If this is a three star hotel, then it's at the top end. Would stay again and recommend to others.
Rooms are small but comfortable. First room we were given was unacceptable, but we were able to change it. Second room had better towels, much better linens, light, view, carpet. Because we were there 21 nights, we requested a refrigerator and extra table. Too bad these aren't standard in the rooms. Also required a very long extension cord. Hotel has really poor wi-fi service and awkwardly placed electrical outlets. I had to leave the hotel to post pictures and use Facebook. Several staff members seemed surprised that I was having this problem but finally one told me that their wi-fi does not work well will Apple products, iPhone/iPad. Shameful. No safe in room and you have to use a potentially inefficient system of security bagging which is only accessible when a manager is on property. One day we asked for bag at noon and were told wouldn't be available until after 4pm. We were able to work with this, but had we been low on funds and heading out, could have been a serious problem. Breakfast service is lush, ample, appealing to Brits, but to this American, it was rather awful. I was unable to get an "over hard" fried egg. Scrambled eggs sitting in water. Canned oranges, grapefruit, prunes. Cold Danish/croissants. We went out for breakfast most days even though it was included with room. Menu-for-pay should be available. Regular menu food is tasty, fairly priced. Shower needs small shelf for soap/toiletries. Staff members were very nice and cheerful. Loved swimming pool!

The pool was fine, the hotel seemed a little jaded, the vibe was more retirement home than smart, modern hotel but that maybe is what appeals to the clientele, who were of an older demographic. Breakfast could start a little earlier (maybe 07:30), for those who need to get away quickly.
