Staff, breakfast and the convenient location all excellent. It is a shame the hotel locks its doors in the night… had to wait to be let in both nights… perhaps a key card facility on the door or a night porter present might make this hotel even better!
With the conditions so hot the room was unbearable at night with no air conditioning or fan. It also never had a refrigerator to keep drinks cold.
Very dated hotel could really do with a facelift. We stayed in room 10 and the fire door was right in front of our door making it very difficult to get in and out of. Staff very friendly. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and about 15 minutes walk outside town. Very little tourist activity around

The staff in the hotel are very nice and friendly, The location is very good just a 10 minute walk to the town centre loads of shops and pubs.The breakfast was very nice and the main meals was very good too £25 for a 3 course dinner.Drinks £14 for two large wines and a Pint was £4.20 for a pale ale. Very easy to get about on the buses.
Good location - walking distance into town. Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome and looked after us throughout our stay.
Generally the hotel was good but outdated.£160 a night for a 3 star with wood chip wallpaper and a tiny TV. £70 a night max. All my friends, including islanders, couldn’t believe the price even during high season. I didn’t have dinner but the breakfast was good.
The staff are very professional and very kind. I would like to thank the receptionist Kennedy and their duty manager for their kindness and thoughtfulness.
Maintenance on the room was poor extraction fan not working toilet roll holder heading south shower was scalding if you turned control wrong way door to bathroom would not close very poor sound insulation we could hear everything the people above did even snoring walking around was like baby elephants bed was extremely hard for me not enough surface space to put things out either in the bathroom or bedroom breakfast was ok
Stay was lovely, rooms were a bit outdated but clean, comfy and spacious. The staff were all very lovely and welcoming (although I did spot the assistant manager being quite patronising to the rest of the staff, so she can probably get off her high horse) but a lovely stay overall and only a 15 minute walk from the centre of St Heliers
