Galaxy Hotel

Excellent location. Just out of main drag but walking distance to everything you could possibly need or want. Beach 50 metres down the road. Staff very friendly and helpful. 2 pools with sister hotel housing the kids pool, we didn’t venture down there. Our pool clean, deep 2.6 metres at one end and a pool bar. Shade with the umbrellas. Much needed in July! Impressive breakfast every morning. Strongly recommend.

This gorgeous boutique hotel is top notch! Its beautiful pool with walking access to the beach and close walk to the main area made our trip complete. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast offered lots of options

A really nice hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The bedroom was lovely and the bed so comfy. Breakfast was tasty, the pool area was lovely and only a couple of minutes from the beach. It takes about 10 minutes to walk into the centre of Naxos town where there plenty of tavernas to choose from A great hotel. I would definitely recommend.

Great location and service from the team including Marina at reception and Charalambos and Konstantinos at the fantastic pool bar. Rooms were cosy and clean providing great views of Saint George’s beach. Plenty of restaurant options nearby and car rentals.

This is our second stay at the Galaxy Hotel and we loved it as much as the first time. It is now part of the Naxos Resort Beach Hotel which gives you access to their amenities. The Galaxy Hotel is located just at the edge of Chora (Naxos Town) and provides an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and historic sites yet is away from the busy seaport / harbor area. The staff are absolutely wonderful – extremely helpful in making suggestions for restaurants, car rental, things to do. The breakfasts have an abundance of good options! The rooms are on the smaller side, more typical of a boutique hotel. We had a triple which was sufficient for the two of us. The hotel is a five minute walk to St George Beach; the hotel has an arrangement for discounted beach chairs, umbrella, water for $15 USD instead of the typical $30. The pool areas at both the Galaxy & Naxos Resort are also nice & relaxing. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. If we return to Naxos, we will be staying here again.

We booked our trip to Naxos late, and this hotel was one of few still available. So, we weren't entirely surprised by our experience. As other reviewers have stated, the rooms are small. The beds are on the firm side, but we still slept. Other small things separate it from better hotels - combined shampoo/conditioner hair care, crummy wall mounted hair dryer, noise from neighbors coming through vents. The breakfast had lots of options but it had the ambiance of a cafeteria with staff vaping in the corner. The beach near the hotel was overcrowded and undesirable. If you actually wanted a lounge chair, you'd likely be out of luck. The pool at the hotel was small but serviceable. We would not stay here again.

This hotel is very nice and in a great location within walking distance to the beach and shops. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly especially Sophia. Highly recommend this place. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed.
