Galaxy Hotel

Good value hotel well located. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great location, close to amenities. Nice and quiet hotel with wonderful and friendly staff. They had an espresso machine in the room which was nice. The beds were very comfortable giving us a great nights rest for the 3 nights we stayed here. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Nice property, walking distance to town for food and shopping. Location is really great. Breakfast was served in the sister resort next door, 1min walk, no big deal at all. Was a great breakfast with many options. Pool could be open longer into the evening. Room safe was old. Great mid priced hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The pluses are that the hotel pool is very large and there is drink and food service that is very reasonable at the pool bar. They give you half price for beach loungers and even full price would still be cheap and they provide towels and water included in the price. We had a rental car but would not drive to town. Streets are confusing and one way with a layout that discourages anyone from driving and parking is limited.. Its probably about 10 to 15 minute walk to town. And the best way to walk is along the beach road and then just follow that in when it ends. The negative is the room was small even for a Triple room. Also the breakfast was at the sister hotel which seemed to be a cheaper place with clientele to match. Seating for breakfast was outside on plastic chairs next to the other hotels pool. Staff went out of there way to give recommendations. I would give them 5 stars but the hotel 4 stars. There were plenty of excellent restaurants on the beach. Beach water was very nice and had very good views. The biggest thing was you were right at the beach but you were also walking distance to town.

The Galaxy Hotel and Galaxy Resort are essentially the same place and connected as one resort, able to access both. We stayed in the hotel. The rooms are compact but high quality. Probably one of the best showers I have used. Rooms have views of sea or pool most likely, as the hotel is very open. Our family stayed in resort room, maybe a little more standard than the hotel. We met in the outdoor bar and restaurant daily and made no difference what location we were staying at. We had buffet evening meal once at it was very nice. The breakfast buffet was lovely and two large Nespresso machines and range of pods, good option for coffee lovers. The hotel and the resort both have pools. Both are surrounded by sun beds, we never had an issue getting beds. Staff are polite and professional. They were not overly friendly, but always helpful. Certainly had no complaints and it was a good experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Galaxy. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and arranging a taxi to the ferry port on our departure. Our room was comfortable. The location is great. It’s less than a block to the beach and an easy walk to the town center for dining and shopping. We enjoyed the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We would definitely stay there again. This was actually our second time at the Hotel Galaxy. We liked it so much the first time, we came back.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had such a great experience. Friendly staff, clean room, great amenities! And the location is right by the beach and a short easy walk into town.

We loved The Galaxy hotel. It was relaxing,friendly with a beautiful pool and short walk to a gorgeous beach. The walk into Chora was also fun wonderful shops or a walk by the water. Either way this is a place I would come back to and wish we had booked a few more days. Also the breakfast was scrumptious.

It was very nice. Convenient to the restaurants and shops.
