Galaxy Hotel

This hotel was so relaxing and quaint. We loved our room 109 with balcony and sea and pool view. Location was perfect for us, close to a nice beach and about a ten minute walk to a main square of Naxos Town and not that far from the touristy part of Naxos Port and Temple of Apollo. Staff were from and very helpful and many thanks to Eleni for being such as great host. She’s an asset to the hotel.

Lovely property. CLEAN! The staff was warm and friendly and always available to meet our needs. Great location to walk to the Agios Georgios beach and into Naxos town. The pool was so refreshing and had a great pool bar. Buffet style breakfast with all the trimmings included!

Our grandson 7 years and my husband and I stayed for 3 nights and for the most part enjoyed our stay especially the location which is very good close and convenient to the wonderful St. George’s beach and Naxos town. The room was however very small for 3 persons and we struggled to find a space for our three suitcases . We were also in a triple garden room that had a tiny balcony and was shaped in an arch so there was no sun anytime and it felt quite like a “cave” inside. In hindsight I wish I had asked to see the room before taking it …..lesson learned. Some of the other triple garden rooms had more sunlit rooms and a bigger outdoor space. We had asked for a room on a higher floor not realizing these 2nd floor rooms were not as desirable . The pool area is lovely, a nice size with a bar area we enjoyed our time by the pool as well as the beach which is a few minute walk away. Breakfasts were average, the staff helpful and friendly . There is a laundry nearby where for 14 euro they wash and dry a large bag of laundry We were in Paros prior to Naxos and we loved Paros much more than Naxos which in the main area by the harbor was almost “carnival like” and filled with people. We enjoyed Naousa in Paros very much as it was more upscale and beautiful to walk around in. Over all we recommend this hotel but be careful what room type and location you choose within the resort.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing hotel. One block from the beach and easy walk to town (if you don’t have any mobility problems). Breakfast was outstanding! Excellent value for the money. Hotel staff were very helpful and arranged transfers. You do need transportation to/from the port— too far to drag luggage for most people. Taxi is 20 Euros.

The hotel is walkable to town which was quite wonderful. It had free parking that was very convenient. It shares facilities with a next door resort so there are two beautiful pools to use. It’s a two minute walk to a delightful beach, which was swimmable and absolutely divine. And the staff were so lovely and helpful and generous. We checked out at 11 but our flight was at 5:30. They said to feel free to use the pool, and the pool shower until we left. Elena at the desk was superb, friendly and thoughtful and knowledgeable about the entire island. It was a wonderful stay

Hotel was very nice

Stayed five nights in this fabulous hotel. Can’t rate it highly enough. Very comfortable bed in a good sized room with balcony overlooking the garden. Room was serviced every day with towels changed regularly including pool towels. The reception staff were great. Such friendly smiling faces greeting you each time you passed through, the very nice lounge/reception area makes you feel really welcome. Breakfast which was at adjoining hotel was excellent as were the breakfast staff - super efficient, hard working. The hotel grounds were immaculate as was the pool area with its snack bar. You ordered at the bar and it was delivered to your sunbed. There was also a gazebo with tables and chairs you could use. The town was a 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants on the way. As is usual in Greece there are no footpaths but traffic is very slow moving in this busy town. We had a very enjoyable 5 nights at the Galaxy hotel and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it.

The location is terrific! Close enough to restaurants and shopping that we walked everywhere, but far enough away that it was quiet. A very short walk to the beach. Lovely swimming pool with a bar. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with plenty of closet space and a great shower. Breakfast buffet had a good assortment of food and lots of outside seating. I don’t know if there is parking at the hotel, but you can certainly drive a car right to the front door. There is a store 2 blocks away for purchasing water, and any other drinks/snacks you need. I would stay at this hotel again.
