Friendly staff, food good.

Dated shabby rooms not worth the money paid. Food was good but overpriced too.

Die Lage mitten im Wald und an einem See (man sieht sehr viele Tiere), das Gebäude selbst, das Personal … es war alles wunderschön!

Die Ausstattung ist schon ein bisschen älter, aber das stört überhaupt nicht und unterstreicht den Charakter!

Beautiful location

We loved: the history, building, staff, friendly service, stunning loch views, the castles nearby, the big comfy bed, feather pillows and duvets, huge fireplaces, the goats cheese salad, the menu, the black cat who sleeps on the throne in the drawing room, the trees… so romantic. Lovely piece of history.

Heartbroken to hear the place is for sale… someone please buy it quickly! It needs to be preserved for future generations and can become the jewel in the crown of a boutique hotel chain.

Nature, mansion overall was beautiful with eerie atmosphere that was exactly what we were looking for! The cat was a perfect extra!!!

I don't t like the fact it will be closed forever, such a beautiful place!

Personnel sympathique, extérieur sublime. Dîner bon bien que cher. Vue sur lac magnifique

Nous avons appris la fermeture prochaine de l'hôtel ce qui explique le laisser-aller de l'entretien. Cela étant ce n'est pas agréable en tant que client. Beau potentiel c'est dommage.
