Great location! Easy to find communication was good.

Just felt a bit tired, could do with a long mirror. Damp in the shower.

We travelled 200 miles and arrived at the property at 9pm in the night only to find the code given on the flat door was incorrect. We attempted to contact the out of hours emergency line, no answer after 3 rings. Voicemail left, also attempted to contact booking.com that evening and no response. At this hour we were sat in a lane on the Barbican surrounded by drunken party goers, with our baby, trying to get answers. Managed to speak to the front of house manager the day after, however had to contact them myself, she was pleasant and apologetic but still doesn’t justify the mistake made. Having to find an emergency hotel with a young baby at that time, after a long journey, really was devastating.

The place was very clean which was lovely, but there was no remote for the TV. We also had issues with the people staying above us being loud and banging around from 12:30-2:00 am which then happened again around 5am. We were staying here the night before our anniversary and because of this we were tired for our anniversary through lack of sleep.

The location to the sea was amazing. The cleanliness was above expectations and a very nice comfortable apartment. The white towels were fluffy and luxurious.

The stairs were a problem for us as we are elderly and found them difficult. A young fit couple would love the views. Should have guessed that there was stairs due to the fact that the apartment was called Rooftops.!

Advertised, when booking, free for pets to stay. BUT On finalising booking, THEY required £10 per pet, per night. Be aware.

Lovely property, nicely decorated and in a great location! Could see out the top window across Plymouth! Staff were friendly and quick to help when I called. Good value for money :) it was a nice getaway with so many options close by, we would stay here again for sure. Stairs weren’t as narrow as I read in some of the reviews, but there are quite a few! Luckily there’s lower floors for some who may struggle with this

Minor things, stairwell smelled like bins, and it was a little difficult to find. I also wasn’t given the access code on the day and had to phone up, and there was some water stains on part of the ceiling and the paint was peeling off it, it wasn’t so bothersome for me and my partner but for others it may be an issue.

Lovely little apartment right in the centre of The Barbican, close enough to enjoy everything it has to offer whilst still being away from the main nightlife, would definitely recommend, everything you need for a weekend away 😀

Nothing really, lots of stairs but that's to be expected, parking is not at the property but there is a loading bay for drop off and a car park a few minutes walk away. £13 for 24 hours which is not too bad.
