It was home from home. Very ckean and comfortable. Everything was provided. Plenty of cooking pans and facilities. Owners were on hand and nothing was too much trouble. Scones and cream was provided on arrival. Eggs could be purchased fresh from the owners hens.

Everything.

"Tranquil, beautiful, fully equipped luxury"

10.0

Just perfect, peaceful luxury in a remote cottage, but only 9 minutes from Tavistock. Jo has provided what I think is the best accommodation I’ve ever booked. Listing a few points, comfy beds with large quilts, power shower, log burner(and central heating), comfortable sofas in the cosy spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen. Some homemade scones, jam and clotted cream as a nice surprise welcome gift, along with teas, coffee, fresh milk in fridge. Luxury shower gel, hand cream in bathroom. If the opportunity arose, I’d go back without a second thought. To wake to silence, then open windows to hear birds sing, wind in the trees, stream bubbling along down the bottom of the bank was heaven for Mum and me.

Only stayed for two nights, could have retired there happy!

"A cosy, valley retreat"

9.0

Very comfortable and well equipped. It was ideal for our brief stay being quiet and private with views to the river.

We struggled with the log burner despite our years of experience with similar fires. However, the cottage was cosy and warm so it was a minor issue. We were restricted by the very heavy rain on the Monday and roads being flooded. The cottage made a welcome retreat.
