O2 Ella

Great location. The staff was amazing and really helpful and kind. The room was big and clean. The shower was great and with hot water.

Everything was good

The room and bathroom were both clean and large.

It was pretty noisy. This isn't the hotel's fault but at 7 am a sort of radio program or advertising is broadcast over loud speakers in that part of Ella (please note, this isn't the Buddhist chanting which starts at 5 am) which is then followed by music (not sure if the music is the hotel's or not) and there is a lot of building work going on around there. We were there for 2 nights and both days we were woken by the 7 am broadcast which went on for at least an hour and was very loud. The wifi was the slowest we had in the whole of Sri Lanka.

Lovely big room, spotlessly clean and good location.

Construction work at the property, noisy and disruptive. I think the hotel should state this when booking as had I known I would have booked elsewhere.

Great Location, very nice place

A really good location in the city center, with bright rooms.

The receptionist did not speak any English so we could not get any information about different activities. Also, we didn't get our 900 rupees in change back as there was more miss communication. I really think you need someone who speaks English on a reception in such a touristy area. Also, the electricity kept turning off so our phones were not charged in the night and the TV did not work.

Close to main road.

Did not clean room even one day, only when we got there.
