O2 Ella

It is basic and functional - good size room, a/c works well, clean (ignoring the ants in the bathroom), comfy bed. Good location for going out in Ella.

Building work outside the room - immediately outside, power tools and hammering at 8am. Pool is much smaller and less inspiring than it looks in the pics. Breakfast was not worth the money. Rooms not made up during stay and water not replenished. Tiny sign (partly hidden) at reception telling you about 3% surcharge for paying by credit card. Manager not very helpful. At a parade outside - he would not let a father with a young sleepy child sit on his chairs, instead he piled them up and sat on them all himself!

The staff were very nice people, very friendly and supportive. Location was excellent, just a few steps away from the main street of Ella town's busy bars, shops, and restaurants.

Basic room with basic amenities. Nothing fancy or comfy, just a functional accommodation for stay. Closer to a private room in a hostel than a "hotel". Rooms aren't sound proofed, so some outside noise is there. Property is in dire need of a face lift. Fortunately, construction work is going on, and hopefully it will be better soon.

The location was handy to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room did forget to get cleaned, buy when asked they were more than willing to remedy.

Location and friendly staff members , from the gentlemen at the reception to everyone else is purely pleasant and nice to chit chat with . I totally recommended this place to stay for a family . Loved the rooms

Wish they had a lift… my only feedback. But it’s not a problem at all .
