Sonaga Beach Resort & Villas Phu Quoc

Was a nice property, beach fabulous and pool area very nice, food pretty good and drinks nice!

Felt like the place needed to be updated a bit, a bit outdated, gym very average, I feel like the photos when you book need to be updated as the gym was definitely not like the pictures, we booked a villa and there was just a few things not exactly right, we didn’t get any pool chairs but when we asked we were given them, the pool was also quite dirty, they also decided to do maintenance in the garden and pool on our second last day and final day, which was very annoying as we couldn’t use the pool then. Also find it very odd that in the villa there’s an area to cook, but there’s no pots, pans, cutlery, even just drinking glasses or cups in the kitchen. We just felt that maybe they forgot to put some bits in the room, however we still had a very nice stay, just a few things were missing.

Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Penthouses had ants and no equipment such as cutlery or plates etc Tiles falling off walls. Needs painting and ALOT of maintenance

Room was not clean upon check in until check out. Breakfast was hectic and messy. Hotel was very old and no hot water !

Bathroom flooded with waste water. Asked to move rooms again bathroom was flooded with waste water. No support given from staff to accommodate issue

Great hotel with an amazing beach and swimming pools, the staff were very kind and the breakfast had plenty of variety. We were in the penthouse with the pool and the room was incredible with two floors and a great pool to refresh from the heat, the views were breathtaking. The hotel is located in a resort area but there are many restaurants closely and a small night market. Other places in the island were easily accessible by taxi. Free ride to the airport provided.

The hotel was fantastic, it could do with a bit of TLC in the room but it was perfect for our final days in Vietnam.

Breakfast is ok. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. This was my second stay here.

At breakfast would be great if you had plain yoghurt (without sugar), simple oatmeal or muesli and plant based milk.
