Sonaga Beach Resort & Villas Phu Quoc

Our room was beautiful, we stayed in a 1 bedroom with private pool. Amazing view of the beach, private pool is always shaded with clean water. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The interior of the hotel was really nice. They did have a great children's play good for children upto the age of 7. The location is a 15 minute drive to sunset town & 20 minute drive to grand world. The main town is a 10 minute drive and all the local shops are a 5 minute walk. Most local shops only come alive after 5pm. The breakfast was great (open 6am-10am)

I'm not sure if September is out of season but the grounds were in need of maintenance, the children's slide area was closed the whole time so ask ahead of booking if it's open. The beach wasn't very clean or attended to. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful English is very limited everywhere, other than the front desk staff. The bed was hard something that is common all over Asia. Laundry was 75% more expensive than the outside business we used that picked up and delivered in 4 hours.

Pas de couvert, pas de verre

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The Villa was big and beautiful, the pools and the beaches were very nice, the restaurant has a delicious food, and all the staff members were professional and friendly especially Duyen :)

- المطبخ لايحتوي على أي أدوات حتى الملاعق والسكاكين، ويجب ان تدفع ٥٠٠ الف دونغ عن كل يوم اذا اردت ادوات طبخ - الفطور جيد لكن غالبية اصنافه لاتصلح لنا كعرب - الانترنت سيء جدا جدا.. يفصل كثيرا ولا يمكن الاعتماد عليه

Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended This was my third hotel stay in Phu Quoc, and sadly, it turned out to be the worst experience so far. The room was dirty, with lizard droppings on the floor and surfaces — a clear sign of poor housekeeping and substandard cleanliness. To add to the frustration, there was no iron or ironing board in the room. Instead, you're forced to pay for their laundry service just to have your clothes pressed. The in-room phone was broken, which meant I had to go down to reception every time I needed assistance — a major inconvenience. The hotel was also extremely noisy and dusty due to ongoing renovations, making it hard to relax. Despite advertising itself as a 5-star property, the actual experience was far from it. If you're planning a trip to Phu Quoc, I strongly recommend exploring other accommodations — there are definitely better options available.
