Sherman Inn

We had a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed our first overnight so much we asked to stay a 2nd night! Donna & Jim are a great team, even though Jim often remarks he may get fired!

The Sherman is a very unique place with spacious rooms and lots to enjoy for a history buff. The host was very welcoming and gave a tour of the common areas. My only negative is about the breakfast time of 8:30 which by that time we were 1.5 hours into our drive and sadly missed it.

This was our second time staying at The Sherman Inn. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean, and very inviting for our overnight stay. We love staying here.

Cute little place with enormous rooms all of which are decorated in home style. This would be the perfect place if you wanted to get away to pursue some personal project in a calm environment. Very good breakfast too. You can even cook your own lunch or dinner if you want to.

A rare experience, especially for anyone looking for an out of the ordinary B&B. The owners' enthusiasm is truly infectious and their love of the history reflected in the decor of each room is impressive.

Difficile de répondre !!!

Le manque d’accueil à notre arrivée 😡 nous avons attendu très longtemps sans voir personne et nous avons tenté de joindre le numéro de téléphone laissé sur place, sans succès. Les alentours de l’hôtel ne sont pas très propres. Tous ces problèmes nous ont incités à renoncer à prendre notre chambre réservée et payée et à trouver un autre hôtel pour la nuit !

We enjoyed our stay at the Sherman Inn. It’s a quaint and unique B&B and the owners were very friendly and accommodating and showed us around even though we arrived later in the evening. It’s family friendly as well with big rooms and other areas available for kids. We hope to be back in the area again for another stay.

Stay was amazing. Jim and Donna are the friendliest people I ever met. Breakfast was fantastic!

Gracious hosts and wonderful accommodations. There is no more comfortable place to stay in the North Country. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of additional common space at the Inn if you need it. The Remington Art Museum, which is well worth a visit, is about 6 blocks away and the St. Lawrence River is just another couple blocks.
