Beck cottage

Lovely cosy and clean little cottage , really comfortable and clean !

The location was lovely and the cottage was nice. The hot tub was a nice additional.

Communication between ourselves and pond cottage was unfortunately very abrupt and quite frankly rude. The cottage was very cold upon arrival which was expected. We contacted Jane the owner of pond cottage who did not seem to care about the heating not working correctly as this part of the message was ignored. We asked for some more firefighters, which we recieved an a blunt reply. We also had a rude encounter with Jane the owner of pond cottage who didn’t introduce herself, just abruptly asked us to move one of our vehicles. The cottage itself was nice, however the interactions with Jane and the coldness of pond cottage means unfortunately we won’t be returning. If you are booking pond cottage, make sure you bring fluffy socks, blankets, jumpers and take your own fire lighting supplies as we where not provided any after asking for some more(which is what is instructed to do!) If you are going to rent out a holiday cottage at least have some manners and be approachable.

The location is gorgeous and very peaceful, and plenty of fire wood was supplied which was great

Very uncomfortable beds & very small double which is so important to a comfy stay. Had to sleep separately on second night to get any sleep. Only one twin made up. Came home scattered. No smart TV as advertised but we could live without Could do with coat hooks just Dee stairs & boots rack! Everything had to just left in the floor

The cottage was pretty clean, dressing gowns were left to use for the Hot tub, the hot tub was on when we arrived so we could have used it straight away. Such a cozy cottage and was a great place for our minimoon.

Lack of signal on mobile, when trying to check emails before entering the property I was unable to. The plaster had blown in a couple of places around the cottage. One day there was a duck hunt in the morning, a warning about that would have been nice as the shots were slightly worrying when we didn't know what was happening.
