Not a lot. The location was pretty good but you can find much better hostels that are more central to be fair.

Would not recommend for young women or solo travellers. It was pretty grimy and un cared for. There was rubbish and crumbs behind the couches, mold on every window, hair in the sinks and so on. You get what you pay for but honestly even a price that cheap is not worth an uncomfortable stay for us.

Short walk to city.

Poor communication from reception who gave me the wrong room and bed, then lied to me about my booking and their dorm facilities. Cleanliness was extremely poor in bathroom and kitchen and furniture was old and stained.

Good location. Beautiful views. Easy access to township. Friendly staff. Late access arrangement worked reliably.

The place is separated into several flat type 'apartments' with only a couple of rooms, which made it feel homely. It reminded me of a student flat. I think if I was travelling with a group of friends and we could fill out one whole room to ourselves this would be a really great place. But things were definitely grimey and not cared for.

The rating on booking.com was a 5, meaning "passable." Which describes this place perfectly. It was pretty dingey and really and the kitchen/common area felt pretty gross. Because it's attached to a bigger motel the sheets are professionally laundered, so the bed felt clean at least. To be honest, I think they could make simple changes to help guests keep the place cleaner, like keeping a large stock of tea towels and kitchen cloths. Because the 2 they change everyday get wet or dirty very quickly which leads to people stacking dishes or not wiping benches.

Location and price are the only advantages.

The receptionist didn't care and was rude. Dirty kitchen and facilities.
