Location is nice. The beds are comfy and staff was friendly.

It was really hot when we checked in. They mentioned quiet time at 10pm, but it was really loud until way past (guests were cooking together and playing the TV loudly).

I love how the bed were set up. It was unique compared to the other hostels I’ve stayed at.

Everything about the property was great. But this girl named Ana, whom I’m assuming was a guest, told me that this place was not a charity place, as soon as I got in the lobby. I arrived pretty late and booked the place last minute, so I didn’t event bother engage with her bc I was way too tired. I didn’t even know what she meant by that, nonetheless we connected over a cigarette but she totally gave me that “ warm” welcome, my Russian friends would say.

Everything was dirty, I didn’t even feel the towel was clean, people living there and accumulating stuff, watching loud tv all day, couldn’t get my bed at the check in hour (10 am) and when I went back I had to wait for a long time, having to call three different times because no one was at the “open” front desk. In general, I would not recommend it to travellers.

We decided to check out a day earlier than planned due to several issues that made our stay uncomfortable. While the location is excellent, we found the hostel itself to be below our expectations. Unfortunately, it triggered our allergies. Despite having stayed in various hostels worldwide, including Los Angeles, Boston, and New York City, this experience was quite disappointing. The air conditioning was not functioning during the hot summer days, and the fan provided was excessively loud. The refrigerator was leaking, which caused damage to our food. We reported a clogged toilet to the staff, but the issue was not resolved. Additionally, we noticed staff smoking vapor inside the hostel, which was unpleasant. The trash cans were overflowing from the evening until we went to bed around 1:30 AM, and they remained unemptied. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and it was unfortunate that these issues impacted our experience to the point where we wished to change accommodation.
