Good location and good sized beds

Staff was never available and doesn't suit young backpackers (all the people there were 50+ yr olds) which is fine but was very unexpected and random. Samesun hostel is much better suited for backpackers

Location.

Disgustingly dirty/damaged sheets that were on my assigned pod. I only took one pic, but attached it. NO actual employee was present that was on the clock working. Only employee at property and was his day off. Had to communicate via text to someone in another city. My pod monitor was missing cord making it unusable well before the evening/night (checked surrounding pods and they all had them)I was told via text that I needed to ask tomorrow from someone who would be there. Was also told where the supposed clean sheets were. They were in a cubby all rolled up into a ball but smelled clean. I left after a few hours and didn’t stay the first night even. Was told a refund would be issued for the rest of the nights and only one night charged. I wasted 10 days and still nothing. I contacted Booking management and they reported that Podshare was contacted in a email response to their refund request for me. Podshare refused to respond to the reasoning as to why. It took me telling them the horrible experience was why. They found their silence and my concerns very concerning and will put them in review as a site they offer moving forward.

The accommodations are really good value for what you pay. The nooks you sleep in can be quite comfy. Whenever staff is actually there, they are quite gracious and helpful.

There are people that just kind of seem to live there. It's not quite like a hostel even though it kinda is. People there tend not to interact with each other; in fact, there seems to be more avoidance of interaction than anything. The vibe is kinda weird. And all it takes is one person with sleep apnea or who decides to burn meals past midnight to kill any chance of a good night's sleep. If you're looking for a hostel experience where you're going to talk with interesting people from different places, this ain't your place.

The location was excellent. The space was clean and more comfortable that I was expecting (my first time ever staying in a hostile).

Had a little trouble with the entry door to begin with (the handle goes the opposite way to open). The shower water took a long while to heat up. I didn’t know I should have bought my own towel. The Wi-Fi (if any) was nonexistent.

Was there breakfast? I missed it!

It was far to dark to read in the common room. A couple of desk lamps to brighten the book would not interfere with the desire to keep the common room dim.

The location is good, but it does not compensate for the horrible facilities this place offers.

I usually don't consider myself a picky person, especially when saving money and staying in hostels. I've stayed in multiple hostels around the world, and this is the first time I've had such a negative experience. Everything about this hostel was bad, except perhaps its location. Staff: Only one person was at the desk, and I saw him briefly twice during my five-day stay. The cleaning staff seemed clueless, and attempts to contact someone via phone were fruitless after the initial check-in response. Facilities: The place resembled a large storage area with partitions. The bunk beds offered no privacy whatsoever. In other hostels, at least a curtain is provided, but here, especially on the bottom beds, there was no option to cover yourself. The top beds had a rail, and I had to use towels or bedsheets to create a semblance of privacy. Cleanliness: The hostel was filthy. Even the "clean" towels felt dirty. They never seemed to change the bedsheets, which triggered my allergies, leaving me itching all night. The floors were dirty, the bathroom floor was disgusting, and the shower curtains were moldy. Comfort: Despite pleasant weather outside, it was hot inside. I could barely sleep because I was sweaty and sticky, even after showering. A big fan in the main room was extremely loud and seemed to only heat the air. The mattresses were hard, and the bedsheets felt matted and dirty. It was so bad that people were using the sofas in the common area instead because it was slightly more comfortable if you were right in front of the living room fan. I couldn't stop sweating in my bed. It was so bad that I decided to spend my last night at the airport instead of going back to this place. Value: This place would only be worth it if it cost $5 at most. Otherwise, it is extremely overpriced for what it offers. Just avoid this place, it's not worth it.

This has to be one of the worst Hostel I have stayed in. The place itself is very hot. No AC or fans inside where people sleep, it doesn’t even have window. It feels like a oven, I have no idea how anyone can sleep comfortably in that type of temperature. It is dirty, smells disgusting and a lot on the people staying there live in that hostel.

Everything was normal and in good condition. The space and location are excellent. It is a fair and viable alternative.

I was expecting they would change the beds (sheet, blanket) every day.
