Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake

Away from the crowds but still within walking distance to Hubin area and Xihu. Hotel is very new and modern. Rooms were big and clean. Comfortable stay, service was really prompt.

Room was spacious, had everything.

Nothing much. Breakfast was limited.

It was an amazing stay in canopy by Hilton. The service and cleanliness were tip top! One of the cleaner actually helped me to fold my clothes, it’s my first encounter with such detailed cleaning, I gave her a tip for such amazing initiative .I didn’t like the breakfast buffet it is disappointing.

Room is hot like sauna, even when we adjust temperature to 20-22 degrees, room temp is still 26 degrees!! We informed the staff and they told us nothing can be done as air con is central control!! We were told to open the window!!! Or use the fan they provide. When we requested for change in the room, we were told that it will be the same and may be worse because other rooms, may not even be able to open the window!! It’s a terrible experience especially coming from Hilton and not other random hotel.

The location is great! It's a short walk to Xihu! The room was really clean. I love how the hotel provides a Dyson hairdryer and toilets are equipped with bidet! The decor of the hotel is really pretty, you can see how much effort they put into the space. Best part is, there are free cocktails for the night at the lobby bar! :)
