Location

TV did not receive many channels. Air con did not work on heat setting so the unit was cold. Only 2 mugs/cups provided for 3 guests. No blanket provided for sofa bed until requested. This was all reported by email with no response. I had to phone and then a blanket was provided but no feedback on the TV and air con problems. We had to buy an extra mug.

I loved the locations and the price and the overall stay was great

The complicated entry to building, following maps on phone to carpark on York St to find keylock box at bottom of carpark. This should be in front foya of building. From lifts to rooms was creepy at night. Like from a horror movie, concrete, cold, industrial. Bathroom had a urine smell upon first entering, black mould entering shower. The apartment needs a lick of paint, skirtings, doors chipped. Needs updating! The view was not pretty. Looking at back of buildings, carpark and bins. Garbage trucks! Only one room (2 bdrm) had wardrobe, coathangers etc. One bed had a pubic hair/beard hair on sheet. The one bedroom with wardrobe offered a portable fan(as stuffy & no where near airconditioning), however this extremely noisy and rattly, so turned off. Airconditioing in lounge needs servicing, we wondered if it was working. TV small, signal kept disappearing. Gave up! Dishes had to be washed before departing, yet glasses etc had to be washed before using. Woken up in morning early hearing knocks on other's doors and other's talking outside. Suprised with extra $250 damage deposit I had to make/pay before receiving 'guide booklet' for checking in (refundable in 7 business days, and maybe longer)+ $10 fee to make up 2nd queen bed(advertised as 2 x bedroom apartment). So disappointed with experience, wished I had paid for motel in city. For 1 x night, got there 330pm, went to an event, left 930pm next morning did not shower there as yuk, with $25 parking overnight, forked out $485.00. Now waiting for $250 to be deposited 7-10 days! Should have booked one of the many motels in city. Felt let down! You experience and learn!
