Cleaning has to be called in. And house keeping does not come for turn down.

I get what they are trying to do and make it fancy etc but they are missing out on some pretty key things I asked the receptionist where I could go in the hotel and use my laptop and she said “ that didn’t exist and we usually tell customers to go outside the hotel. “ That was dumb WiFi for work from home hasn’t been possible at hotel because WiFi non functional outside of the hotel room and my partner is using hotel room When I stepped out at night to go to 7/11 to get snacks there were a bunch of homeless people running around and one was brandishing a pipe lol. Not very luxury.

Terrible experience, hotel very unaccommodating, street noise kept me awake all night. People drag racing up and down the street until 2AM. Rooms poorly insulated, denied a 30 minute extension to check time after all that. I was shocked at the customer experience being delivered here.

Great experience, rooms were up to the usual Thompson Standard. Restaurant was phenomenal and the hotel breakfast was excellent. Great staff and service throughout my stay which was perfect for the local conference center.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. It also has a good location. The food and service was good. However, I do not plan to stay again. The insulation and noise makes it difficult to relax or sleep. The cars on the street revving their engines all night long is extremely loud in the rooms. Also, the walls are paper line and you can hear everything from your neighbors. I had 6 adults next door drunk and screaming at odd hours.

This is a prominent hotel, sharing space with an even more prominent condo residence. The Lobby is fabulous. The restaurants and pool areas are designed for luxury and well traveled guests. The layout is awkward and the staff is often cold and self-absorbed. There’s a feeling of being at a regional casting call for the TV show “Baywatch“. The area immediately around the hotel runs the gamut from expensive to condemned. The Thompson Dallas hotel is an oasis in a city undergoing cultural transition.

Very Romantic and visually appealing hotel with excellent views from the room as well as the rooftop pool and terrace. Catbirds was also very fun and even though we had plans to go out in the town for the nights, we ended up staying at the hotel and enjoying our evenings there.
