Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort

Loved the size of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were very well looked after by Susupan in the dining room. Also loved the musicians. Really enjoyed the pool. The attendant was very helpful each time we were there. Anali welcomed us into the dining room with lovely smile and hospitality.

We had a wonderful time during our 3 day stay. The rooms were great, the food fantastic and our waiter, Sasupun, was very helpful and attentive. It was very peaceful throughout our holiday– glad to come here again.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel. Everything was very clean and staff were all amazing. We especially enjoyed the food and Sasupun, our waiter, looked after us so well and attended to all our requests happily and efficiently. Thank you Sasupun and all the staff at Sheraton Kosgoda. Also the massages were great too!

That was a great pleasure to stay in the Sheraton Kosgoda Hotel. Though firstly I didn’t like some moments regarding accommodation and river coming to the the ocean next to the hotel beach, I finally liked the place due to friendly staff, delicious main restaurant, calmness of this place. The ocean is tough and the beach is not a long one for walks due to plants and stones. The location is handy. It was very useful to get excursions from Dulchan, you can meet him at the hotel’s beach or call +94 (76) 354 7930. He has a good team, new cars and tuk tuk, ready to reduce places to visit if you do not want to take all the excursion programme. That was very convenient for us!

We definitely loved our overall stay at Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach. The resort’s proximity to the beach is perfect — just steps away and absolutely beautiful. The pool area is another highlight with its stunning setting, comfortable sunbeds, and a relaxing vibe that’s ideal for sunbathing. I also really appreciated the service at the pool bar — friendly, prompt, and always with a smile. However, the breakfast experience was quite disappointing on both days. It felt chaotic and disorganized, and the staff seemed unable to manage the rush efficiently. A bit more attention to coordination and guest service during breakfast would make a big difference.

I stayed only for one night but what an experience starting from welcome dance, rooms, view , food and everything. Shout out to Irshad and Sahan who put all there best efforts to make my stay amazing.

I want to take a moment to thank two very special people — Raween and Selan. You’ve both been so kind, supportive, and welcoming. From the very first day, you made me feel at home, and I’ll never forget your warmth and generosity. Thank you for your time, your help, and all the beautiful memories we’ve shared. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done — you’re not just friends, you’re family now.

This resort offers a truly family-friendly experience. Our children thoroughly enjoyed their stay, The pool proved to be a highlight for the kids, and the staff were consistently warm and accommodating. The resort also provides thoughtfully curated programs for children — special mention to Ifra from the kids’ section, who was exceptional and ensured the children had a memorable experience. An excellent choice for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway.
