Great hotel with awesome views. Lovely front of house staff, very helpful. Hotel made us very welcome with our dog so would highly recommend them to other dog owners!

A good 3 star hotel. Wifi was only available in public areas, but password wasn't easily available. Beds in Room 1 were comfortable but rather creaky. Good breakfast. Staff were very friendly and obliging.

The hotel is really nice and the people that work here are very helpful, We had a family room that was really big for 5 of us and the beds were very soft we all slept like baby’s!

Good location with sea views and reasonable price. But walls are paper thin and floorboards are creaky. Family above walking up and down to well past midnight meant little sleep and could hear conversations in hallways. Breakfast service on Saturday was terrible. Long wait to be allocated a table, no coffee or tea offered, breakfast done to order arrived with stone cold toast and beans. Sunday a huge improvement, possibly because about 5 times the staff.

Peaceful view and good food, service was a bit slow which was probably down to less staff due to distancing!

Noisy, creaky, old building, uncomfortable bed. Shower didn't work, breakfast was cold and dried out both mornings. Not as advertised, over charged (and found out expedia added on ~£200 to the bill, which is exorbitant!!) Would definitely not stay there again.

All the staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. One day my daughter was disappointed that a particular yoghurt was not out at breakfast and the waitress went to check if they had any. She returned saying they did not but she had sent someone out to the shop to get one. I thought this went above and beyond and exemplified the general approach to customer service here. The place itself is lovely, a traditional family hotel, a little old fashioned but with a lovely friendly atmosphere, a garden opening onto the cliff path with easy access to the beach, an easy walk to the old town, a lovely indoor pool and enough parking not to have to fight for a space. Many of the guests are returners, as were we on this occasion, and we will be back for sure.
