Oakland Motel

everything was fine

There was no breakfast… we thought we were going to stay at the oak mont… we were moved to the Oakland motel… room was clean.. we had twin beds…not good for us…the electric door lock did not work originally…we had no water cups…room temperature was difficult to control..bath tub was very high… difficult to get in and out of…mattress’s were extremely uncomfortable… not a overall good experience… won’t be back

2nd time time staying here since it has been under new management that started 2 years ago. 1st time had its own set of issues but lets focus on this stay. No staff on property, if you need anything you have to go to a sister property further in town. Room was filthy. Beer bottle cap on top of tv stand and it was all covered in thick dust. Shower would not drain so management had to come fix that issue. Advertised a coffee maker but there was not one so we had to buy one at dollar general. Room has a dehumidifier that is loud and cuts on and off all day and night. The bucket was full and humidity level was 75%. Stayed 3 nights and had no room service. Only 1 wash rag, 2 tiny soap bars and 2 single use shampoos.
