What a fabulous property! We tremendously enjoyed staying there. The location is extremely convenient with a subway station within 5 mins and being situated opposite Nijo castle adds a certain charm. The food was delicious and the staff are extremely courteous and amicable. We will definitely be going back!

No spa, no fitness club, no other facilities but very private and quiet. Room was clean and spacious. View of the Nijo castle is not what you would have expected but good for a walk around the castle. Very near from subway and 10 mins walk to JR Nijo. Staffs are kind and well-trained.

Small hotel, with impressive service and rooms, located just opposite Nijo castle in a very quite neighborhood, rooms are well equipped, very comfortable beds pillows and pijama, breakfast and dinner are amazing experience for us very thoughtful alacart menu

"Gorgeous hotel, amazing staff, delicious food"

Absolutely stunning hotel with phenomenal staff and incredible restaurant. The hotel itself is centered around a gorgeous tree that really sets the stage for a stay in Kyoto. The photos are great but it’s all just so much more striking in person. We had a huge room that had a lovely little patio overlooking a bamboo garden. After checking in we realized we really wanted another night added to our trip and thankfully the hotel was able to accommodate us. Our package had dinner included, which was absolutely delicious and a great value - easily could have been a $500-600 meal. We also had breakfast included which was also delicious. We did both the Japanese and Wellness breakfasts and both were superb. Really the what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every person was friendly and helpful. We hope we can stay again. Highly recommend booking here!

"An oasis in the middle of Kyoto"

This boutique hotel is an oasis in Kyoto. Our room was gorgeous, every comfort was provided, the staff was exceptional. It’s set off of a Main Street in a park-like setting, but right near a subway station so it was easy to get everywhere! We walked to so many sites too. Highly recommend this lovely place.
