The service was absolutely rubbish. From the check in, to the meals, to the tuktuk. Everything. Few pointers - About the food and service - 1. When I sit for a meal, water should be served almost immediately 2. Waiters should be easy to find or call 3. When I want to talk to the restaurant manager, he should not always be on his phone 4. After I'm done with a meal, the staff should anticipate a need for a tuktuk and ensure I get in one. I should have to ask multiple people 5. If breakfast is included, don't charge me $2 for an extra egg hopper when I'm already paying $500 for a room, it makes both of us look bad 6. The quality of the food was substandard. When I order a chicken curry, it should be the star. Providing a few other add ones but a tiny bowl of the curry with two measly pieces of chicken doesn't cut it. About the room - 1. The water pressure is terrible 2. Add a space where I can put the bath products when I'm using them. Having to bend to get the soap and shampoo is really tedious. 3. There should be a better way to call for tuktuks from the room. 4. If a tuktuk is waiting for you because you've asked them to, they should turn the tuktuk around and keep. 5. Install some kind of exhaust in the bathrooms to dry it. I understand that it's an old property and you want to maintain it, but you're running a hotel now, so if properly.

Stunning to stay in Geoffrey Bawa’s private residence. Beautiful - children can stay in the Cinnamon House. Lovely staff and beautiful 3 day 2 night stay. I will definitely be back.
