Nijojo Taiken Inn

The cleanliness and the helpful staff. The lounge is comfortable. The washing machine and the dryer help us to do laundry (everything is written in Japanese, hard to run the machine at the 1st place).

The toilet and bathroom are separated from our room. I thought it was in the same room. Nevertheless, everything was ok.

Here is everything you need, clean and very comfortable. Available washer and dryer, and bicycles. Fully equipped kitchen, everything new. Very good location close to the metro station and bus stop. I slept in a Japanese style family room, it was wonderful. A beautiful Japanese house. Host very helpful and nice. I highly recommend staying here!

The inn staff is very helpful! Answers every question patiently. The inn smells great everywhere too.

The train stations are a bit of a walk.

Cozy apartement, nice ambiance.

We were staying in apartment Factory, which is not all to comfortable for taller people because of the low beams and doors.

The price was incredibly low for such a nice Inn, which is in the style of a renovated machiya. It had many appliances, from a kitchen to a washing machine, and was situated in walking distance to most attractions in Kyōto.

Nothing to complain about. Even a separate shower and bathroom in a hostel/share house. We really liked the location as well

The address provided brought us to a different street. We quickly found it by typing the name of the inn instead of the address into google maps

We stayed in “the Villa”. The actual living quarters for what was an old silk trading business. Definitely had the feel of “Old Japan,” but was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. We loved it!
