Gorgeous hotel with prime location on the water and walkable to shopping on Thames & Washington Square area. Clean & cosy rooms. Near lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Valet has in/out privileges.

I went on a girls trip to Newport and Hammetts Hotel was the perfect place to stay! The rooms were well appointed, meticulously cleaned, and my room offered a beautiful view of the ocean. The public spaces were cozy and inviting, which was wonderful when the weather was terrible and we didn’t feel like venturing into the rain. We were close to everything and could walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. All in all, I loved my stay and would happily return!

The room was absolutely perfect. I am admittedly a hotel snob, I have only good things to say about my stay. It was incredibly quiet, clean and the location! I would most certainly happily stay here again.

While the hotel is beautiful, and the location is ideal, the rooms for the price are extremely small with no amenities in the room. No iron, shower caps, refrigerator or a table and chair. No booklets of information about the hotel or the surrounding area.

We had the best time at the Hotel! Carlos is the best staff person. He is the epitome of amazing service! We loved sitting in the “living room” at the end of the hall before the back patio and Carlos would turn on the fireplace for us. Then we would be out on the patio where it was chilly and Carlos would turn the in ceiling heaters.
