Casa Makawe ONLY ADULTS

Well stocked, beach towels, cooking supplies… having a few coffee packets would have need nice. Room was very spacious, clean. Area was quiet too and just a few minutes to town center and beach

We had a great stay

We would prefer a small table & chairs,stools are to high & uncomfortable for eating .Hot water at the kitchen sink,other places we stayed had hot water at kitchen & long stays cleaning services should be free once a week..We were there 3 weeks. Our stay was wonderful @ the Casa Makawe in the large king bedroom with large front balcony very clean. Would definitely recommend a stay @ the Casa Makawe..

Good stay. A mistake with the almost double charge. But found and taken care of. Hot water went off on first and last day. Turned back on right away. Fast replies.

The pool was quite nice - a little smaller than photos depicted but a nice temperature Sun deck was also quite nice. Shower was good.. Bed was comfortable but small.

Room was not very clean. Bedding was very creased and i wondered if it was actually freshly laundered. We were only given 2 bath towels for 6 day stay and they were always damp after 1st use. It was humid and impossible to dry anything. In fact the room smelt musty and moldy after day 3. Extra towels and housekeeping was an extra charge which we felt was very unfair after paying $230.00 CAD per night. Kitchenette sink had no hot running water. We had to boil a kettle to wash dishes. Bed was only a double when booking info said it was a queen. Outdoor patio was extremely small with high walls 4 levels in total on all sides so very little light or air flow. A drying rack was supplied but without air flow nothing dried. It was such a small area that with rack extended their was little room for the 2 chairs.

Host contacted us through Whatsapp as we landed at the airport. Great communication. There is no reception but a restaurant next door that is owned by the same people. Upon arrival host met us outside, showed us where to park and showed us the room which has a coded entry. Room was spacious and clean. Nice little kitchenette. Rooftop pool was great for late afternoon swims. Very convenient location with only a 3 minute walk into town and the beach.

Great just. Juan. Sur38 restaurant, great staff food and drinks downstairs. Easy walk to everywhere. We’ll be back.
