Casa Makawe ONLY ADULTS

The room was great, everything was essentially as pictured and the building was quiet. Everyone was friendly and the location was perfect!

A couple bugs around the room (to be expected in Mexico), no kitchen garbage can and only one set of towels. I'm sure we could have requested more but without a front desk it wasn't very clear how to contact our host and request things.

Awesome large room with hammock in, balcony, beautiful rooftop pool ! Loved it!

Overall we liked it very much. However, the first time we entered the room it had an unpleasant odor and was dark. Over time we got used to it, but perhaps something to work with. It has everything we needed. The owner was very nice and we he accommodated us with an inflatable mattress! We really liked the restaurant downstairs, The waiters who work there are very nice, but you have to wait very, very long for the food! It is close to the center and the beach! We will definitely come back and stay in the same place!

Small things could make this hotel go from good to great like, small rips in bathroom mozzie net, pool towels were thin&old and white stripes had turned grey, tile damage to pool.

We loved the well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfy/but should have a headboard, the pool was great - late sun and sunset. The bathroom is nice, but needs more hooks or towel racks. We booked the hotel because I wanted the adults only - but of course one still has noise from outside, maybe a cute sign reminding to be quiet at night in the open stairway/hallways as the concrete enhances the noise. There is a nice vibe to the hotel, and it is great to have an elevator for luggage. Very close to beach and town and endless great restaurants.

The furniture is quite uncomfortable, I think they would do great to remove at least one of those big chairs on the patio - too big, (put it in the hallway/landings) and replace the one chair with something a bit smaller and comfortable. The inside area should have two comfortable chairs and a regular sized small dining table-instead of the bar-table and chairs. There should be more hooks everywhere or a rack (or pull out line) of some kind on the patio- or bathroom, it was impossible to dry towels and bathing suits. The hammock should have one of the side hooks open so one could close/detach. The shower head needs extending or changing, I had to fill a bottle of water to wash hair, the bathroom vanity is loose and wobbly. The price is on the higher side compared to the quality/comfort. Would not take much to improve it.

Lots of room in the apartment. Great bathroom and kitchen area. Large fridge. Pool area was great. Location was amazing and cafe downstairs served great food. Staff were super friendly.
