"Fabulous place"

Loved everything about the hotel. Our room was beautiful and loved the outside terrace. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the outside areas. When we go back to Lisbon this will be the first place I check for availability. Highly recommend Casa Balthazar.

"Great stay at Casa Balthazar"

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Balthazar for three nights in mid-April 2026. We had a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, our room was wonderful and the soaking pool peaceful. A great breakfast and helpful staff—Ruth and Yuron were great! One thing—it is on a small street that is not a through street. So our Bolt driver would not drive up it. Best to consult with the hotel to arrange a ride from the airport with a driver who is familiar with the hotel. They can allow the driver to pull into their parking area and turn around and drive back down the street.

"Home Away from Home"

I loved my stay at Casa Balthazar. It's centrally located and gives many opportunities to explore the city on foot. I stayed in a jacuzzi room and the balcony is incredible. Just marvelous views of the city. The staff was wonderfully attentive. Ruth, in particular, went out her way to make my stay amazing, and booked several reservations for me. Casa Balthazar will always be my home in Lisbon, and I can't wait to return.

"A place that feels like home"

Six days in Lisbon with Casa Balthazar as our home. It was a delight. Room looking out onto the grassed courtyard and pool - quiet and relaxing after a day spent being a tourist. All the staff were kind and helpful, the room spacious and elegant. The hotel is very central but in a narrow and quiet road above the hustle and bustle. Lots of good restaurants nearby for evening meals. A delight and a wonderful place to stay!
