"I had a wonderful stay at Rosmead place by Thilanka."

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious too. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

"Lack of maintenance lets the place down."

The in-room air conditioning, cold fridge, good location and friendly staff

Lack of maintenance - sink leaked, mould very apparent, no hot water, broken furniture, terrace beds in disrepair. Other than in the room, there wasn’t an air-con or any air flow in the common areas.

"Great location, clean hotel and room, friendly and helpful team"

The manager was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and very well located in the lovely Cinnamon Gardens district. Aircon in the rooms was great too.

We booked a room for 2 adults + 2 kids, but it only had 3 (largeish) single beds. We managed by one adult sharing with the non-wriggly kid, so didn't mention this to staff. Maybe they would have changed it if we'd said something. Breakfast was delicious, but it would maybe be good to check any food requirements with guests before serving (my husband and I are mostly vegetarian, and it felt like a waste to leave the sausage uneaten...).

"Great little hotel in a good location"

Beautiful art on the walls and in the rooms. The friendly manager Sanjeewa was always available for a chat or assistance. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Easy check in and out. Located close to all the embassy buildings in a safe part of Colombo.

Honestly the only thing that ruined the experience was the terribly old bathtub in the bathroom. It clearly needs to be replaced with the paint peeling and the tub cracking in places.

The photos are very accurate as the property looks exactly like what you see on the pictures. Great and friendly staff, very comfortable beds and mattresses, AC with cleaned filters, super quiet. I enjoyed my stay with Rosemead place. We had fresh fruits provided to us every breakfast.

Having an option of porridge or anything else different than omelet would be a good thing!. Nevertheless the breakfast was delicious!

"Beautiful Boutique Hotel in the heart of Colombo"

excellent boutique hotel right in the heart of colombo. The rooms were clean and spacious and quiet, staff really helpful and breakfast was lovely. I would stay there again. walking distance to the park and supermarkets. Loved the wallpapers throughout the hotel and tasteful decor.m
