"Peaceful location"

The establishment was beautifully decorated,cosy and colourful.Comfortable bed.The staff were so friendly and helpful.Peaceful area.

Need to take a taxi each time you need to go t the restaurant and shop.

The hotel's design is super nice, each room has its own name. The rooms were spacious enough to accommodate all of us. It was a good price compared to other properties in Colombo, we didn't expect such nice rooms.

The bathroom needs more cleaning, as the bathtub looks very old and dirty. We couldn't have dinner at the property, but there are lots of restaurants nearby, this wasn't a big issue.

"Overrated, wouldn’t repeat."

Accommodated very late night check in, clean bed and towels, overall friendly staff. Quiet location in the neighborhood. Walkable location within Colombo.

Very basic room, a bit shabby. Manager was awkward and took a photo of my kids at breakfast before we could say no (on his own phone). Food was lacking. Wi-Fi didn’t work in rooms, ants everywhere. Aggressive dogs on road near house.

"A boutique hotel with a difference."

It’s very lovely boutique hotel. Room had all the amenities. The unique point about its rooms is that all are named after different Sri Lankan fruit. For example, our room’s theme was Jackfruit and a wall of the room was beautifully painted with this fruit’s tree. The staff was sweet and helpful. Above all, Its Operation Manager Mr Sanjiva’s responsiveness and accommodating nature is praiseworthy. The hotel is centrally located; near to not only market but also to all the important Colombo’s tourist destinations.We had only breakfast; it was certainly very delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our two nights at Rosmead Place by Thilanka. Highly recommended.

"Excellent for a one night stay"

Large and well equipped bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom was well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful

Bathroom was large and well equipped but rather worn - the bath surface was badly discoloured. Not well soundproofed - noise from stairs.
