"Nice homely place - not a hotel though"

This is a homestay private property more a bed and breakfast. We reached late at night and were checked into a small room. However the staff were very nice and upgraded us to a better room the next day, which was large and comfortable and even had a bathtup and bidet! An excellent and homely breakfast. Also a good moderately prices vegetarian and non vegetarian restaurant just 400 m away - Taco Bell, coffee shops etc also nearby.

The Wifi service was poor though more because of possible connectivity issues.

"Good"

I stayed with my husband and my 2 yrs old girl. The staff is really friendly, and helpful. The place is clean and there is an ac and fan in the room. The room we took was the last one, so we had a small terrace, but its not fully private as its shared with an another room. We just stayed for one night, and headed to the south.

"Disappointing"

They let me checkout much later and they were friendly when I arrived

They sent me to another hotel which was worse conditioned that the fotos that you can see online and still charge me full price. I know that was 30% cheaper because someone of the stuff told me. As well they charge me one dollar more for the breakfast than what the website says.

"Exceptional"

We had a very pleasant stay in Rosmead place by Thilanka with our small family of 3. Our daughter (aged 2) didn't even want to leave, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, treated us like family members. Location is perfect, centre but very quiet street. Delicious traditional breakfast with juices and comfy beds.

"A nice hotel for a short stay in Colombo"

We arrived very early at 7 am and we were able to leave our bags to explore the city. Because of the long flight, we were very tired and the hotel was able to let us check in before the appointed check in time, which was greatly appreciated. The art work and decor in the hotel was very welcoming. The included breakfast was very good. We had two breakfasts there, one western style and one Sri Lankan, both were good.

"Great start to our trip !"

Very clean! Great room and the manager was so lovely and helped us with everything! Even arranging a tuk tuk to show us around the next day! Also breakfast was incredible
