Great place

The inn, staff and room were lovely. Cosy, interesting room with comfy bed and spotlessly clean.

What was disappointing was that breakfast (which was included with the stay) did not start until 9am which seems very late for a weekday! I did want breakfast, but in the end needed to leave before it was served. That's the only reason I've marked this stay down - because I had to leave hungry.

Pity breakfast didn’t start earlier

The pub was great, the restaurant too. Food and selection of drinks fantastic and the room we stayed in was perfect. Every member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Excellent

The hotel side of the business was very good, comfortable and the staff really accommodating and friendly. The food was superb and really excellent value. He chef was brilliant and made excellent dinners (I recommend the Ribs) and breakfast was outstanding.

Could do with some better parking…

Room was nicely furnished and clean. Food in the pub was good.

Level of service for B&B needs attention. There was no milk, no shower gel and no TV remote in the room on arrival. Breakfast was served 9-11:30 Mon-Thurs which is far too late for most guests. I was offered a packed lunch in lieu of breakfast but it was left overnight in a broken fridge so was inedible. Door to the pub from the bedrooms was locked until 9am and we had to find a rear door that exited into the back yard just to get out. No signs or warnings.

Beautiful appointed room and one of the best breakfasts I’ve had which is included in the price of the stay.

The shower didn’t work very well and no lifts to lug suitcases up stairs
