Nouveau Resort

Very nice rooms. Great attractions for kids and . Perfect breakfast, enormous pools

If you want to criticise something, maybe that there is not really a beach or easy sea swimming possible. But as the pools are perfect not really negative

The resort is beautiful, the grounds are meticulously cared for . Huge pool. However the jacuzzi wasn’t working and cold. The housekeeping staff is amazing. They keep your room clean and stocked. Dining room staff are friendly but service is a little slow when you order. Also, some of the items in the menu are not available. The pool bar doesn’t serve drinks until 2 and you can’t even get water if you’re there earlier and it gets really hot. If you just want to stay in the hotel you’re ok but there is no night life in the “poblacion”. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday. Our best meal was the excellent bulalo and sinigang!

Plan was to spend a good moment for new year. The loud music was unbearable . We spent 2/3 of our time at the back of the building. Despite my demand to the manager to lowering the noise, he clearly had no concern for the health of his customers. Restaurant and buffet are nearly an annex of Jolibee. Rooms without sound proofing . Service of the pool bar inexistent etc....

We visited the resort around September of first week, the location and the ambience are very good and the room we also got has a nice view of the mountain! Plus points for the free drinks and chocolate upon check in.

So on our final night, we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff said (on our first day) that they close at 10 pm. So we went down around 8pm only to find that it's already closed. And they don't have any food or room service. So we went to sleep hungry. Camiguin is a province so the stores closes early.

We chose to stay in Nouveau resort as a treat for my husband’s birthday and it was definitely a pleasure staying in this resort because all the staff were attentive and very professional. They have also been helpful when ordering our food for our son who has mutliple allergies so we would like to commend Earl(Erli), Edmar and Lian who were of great help and provide great service. And big thanks to all the staff as they have made us feel welcome. The resort is beautiful with great views and very well kept. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean and the water pressure of the shower was really good. The pool was also a great feature. The location was convenient for us as we arrived in Benoni port and near the area to travel to Manitgue island. My husband also had a massage in their spa and it was one of the best massages he had in the Philippines. This resort was a really good place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend this resort to everyone who would visit Camiguin.

Resort is quite a very clean and nice place. Staff are very friendly. One thing that dissapoint me is when i book speed boat tour to mantigue. The adds in front desk is P 1500/ person in big bold font. I book for 8 person for the day (6 am)w/c they acknowlege. Then that night front desk talk to me if i can readjust the time to 7 am coz the 2 guest that they add to our booking wants 7 am. I then decided to readjust our booking tome to 10 am so we can have breakfast first. She ll call back to check thr availability. Then she said thr 2 guest that book with us cant make it. If we push thru i need to pay the 2 empty seat. Not being rude, i told her thats not my problem if the 2 guest doesnt want my 10 am booking. And paying the 2 empty seat is rediculous just for the sake of being 10 person the speed boat will depart. I then told her to call me back and let her manager knows about it. In that stressfull situation they created i decided to cancel the speed boat booking. The itenerary for the next day was ruins. They didnt even reconsidered/ suggest the guest for an alternative plan. Very dissapointing rules.
