Whisky Point Resort

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel! Nicola and Anna, along with their team, were absolutely adorable, always attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that make it the most breathtaking hotel we’ve experienced in Sri Lanka. Every detail was perfect, and we felt so welcomed and cared for. We highly recommend this hotel 100% for anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you, Nicola and Anna, for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing location, super team, great vibe, 5 min walk from the surf. A little paradise on earth

The place is amazing! We loved everything: the beachfront apartments, the staff is very nice, the owners Nico and Anna are very friendly, cleanliness of the place, actually, we loved everything, and we are definitely going to return back at this place

We loved everything!

Wonderful place right at the beach. The resort is built with a lot of love to detail and mostly natural materials. It's so peaceful and relaxing in the garden. Excellent Yoga lessons, delicious pizza and food. The owners make you feel right at home and are incredibly helpful with organising trips and taking care of everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The lodges are on the beach between the palms and trees, the food is amazing, the stuff is really nice and welcoming, the owner is also very heartwarming and friendly. During the night you can hear the sound of waves and birds, really calming.

I liked everything

We loved the place!!! This is what I call a resort! Anna and Nico will make you feel like a part of the family! Besides hospitality, service is excellent, food is really good, drinks and cozynes will make you stay more in this paradise! I couldn't stay more, but it is definitely a place where I will come back! It's a small resort situated right on the beach. With very few guests, there’s ample space for solitude. You can fully unwind, being close to nature, with everything designed to help you feel grounded. The couple who own the place go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible stay.

Be mindful of which type of cabana you book. Some are enclosed and have private bathrooms, while others are open and have shared facilities. Both options work well. We stayed in the open cabanas and enjoyed it a lot.

We loved the stay! The location, the cabins, the yoga, the beach, the food, the staff … it was very nice!! They where very helpfull if you want to go for a surf or other trips.

However, upon leaving, we were a little disappointed in two things: - don't book on Fridays. You're not sleeping! Next to the hotel is a nightclub on Fridays. Your bed is in the club that night. We and the other guests did NOT sleep. The owners can't do anything about it 😞 and fighting against the owners of the club. - You pay a price for the setting and concept, which is wonderful. But at other places we had a pool, shampoo and shower gel and air conditioning included for that price. Its a bit overpriced.

Everything! The atmosphere, the staff, the cabana and the food. The place is just lovely and the views are breathtaking. I am definitely coming back next time I am in Sri Lanka. Wish I could have stayed longer. This was the best out of all the places I stayed during my travels around the country. They just do everything a little better than others.
