Claremont Hotel

Used the hotel as a base for visiting relatives, hotel clean and staff went out if their way to help me with a couple of queries, friendly and nothing to much trouble, very quiet at night time no noise or late people coming in. Lovely hot drinks tray in room with, there is no fridge,hairdryer and iron but you can ask to borrow these. Breakfast lovely, exceptional quality and good size lovely to see happy staff early mornings. Only mini snag was there is a lovely bar advertised on site but wasn't open the weekend we went, would have been perfect to come back to, the room little bit small for us but was perfect for the time we were there any longer we would have crashed into each other a lot. Bus stop right outside hotel into centre and amazing restaurant within walking distance.

What a lovely hôtel. Very clean, great staff and a very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast too. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

Horrible experience facilitated by racist staff, please never visit this hotel! They not only lied about our booking and removed us in an incredibly rude and unprofessional manner, but we were told to “Go back to our country”. What kind of staff does this hotel employ to treat people in a racist manner in this day and age? Embarrassing behaviour.

Room was very clean, the bathroom had a very good shower, and a comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of cereals and the bacon and sausage were very good quality. Nice welcome as well. We will definitely use the hotel again as a stopover on our way to Scotland

Travelled to Preston for a football game, and although the football was disappointing, this hotel wasn’t ! The rooms were clean, bathroom etc, had a shower which the water pressure wasn’t perfect, but the bathroom was a good size. The staff were super friendly and helpful and as our rooms were ready they let us drop our bags before going out to the football. After an over 200mile trip it was nice to be able to rest before going out. The breakfast was good, served quickly and had everything you needed before going home. Overall, a great hotel for the price, lovely staff and clean rooms.

The room was very dusty the beds were extremely hard the room was super hot the bathroom had mould. But the staff were incredibly friendly

Really good budget hotel, spotlessly clean, really nice room and top breakfast. Tremendous value . Staff nice and friendly. Close to Preston town and 5 minutes drive to the marina. Plenty of car parking and whilst the town itself is not fantastic there are a few pubs and restaurants nearby.

The room was spotless We had a great nights sleep in a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. All the staff that we met were cheerful and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Preston area.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel. Staff are friendly and the service is great. Wonderful full English every day. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and modern. Value for money too.
