"Roaches everywhere"

2.0

Roaches crawl all over everything from under and in the refrigerator, to the walls, on the floors and even in the beds. This place is nasty and filthy plus it smells like weed all day. People are here to get high, smoke dope and prostitute. I stayed here for a couple of months and I regret it. I had to leave. I even saw a used condom in the laundry room on a washing machine with two cans of beer next to it. I will never stay here again.

"Proof that leadership makes a difference"

2.0

I've been waiting to write a negative, but balanced review, almost exclusively a result of the most condescending, bitter and resentful General Manager I've ever come across in nearly any industry (without exaggeration), my hand was rushed after my 1st floor room WAS BROKEN INTO at apx. 3am on 1/4/21 from the window while I was sleeping about two feet away, which ended my 2 month long stay here. I'm going to have two parts to this review in case it's too long for you. Part ONE is everything related to the break in, Part TWO is about the hotel and it's terrible manager. Part ONE: Here's what you need to know. There is only a SINGLE camera for the entire property, and that barely works at night. The police are on site frequently for a litany of issues from domestic disputes to manhunts. Even they advised I should look for a safer place if I can afford it. Having them around frequently originally gave me comfort because I never saw anything of concern, but I see I was wrong. I actually reported the window being broken and not locking days into my stay. It took them an additional couple of days to decide it was worth looking into and the solution was a wooden beam placed to wedge the window shut. Obviously, this wasn't sufficient. It still allowed the window to crack, and once cracked, the intruder was able to push the window off the track and around the beam. Luckily, he was just looking for a free room, literally anything could have happened. I might have considered staying had there been an appropriate response. In my shock I originally called the resident attendant first. He said ok and did nothing. He didn't even come to my room. I had to call the police and I had to wave him down in the hallway after. Not only did they do nothing in the moment, they continued to do nothing. No additional security to the window, no apology, they just clearly wanted me to shrug it off. As I was in a premium room there was nothing comperable on the front facing side or a higher floor. Leaving became my only option when I realized the safety of guests is irrelevant to the team here. Once at the new hotel, I was told they accidentally received a survey from this property in which a car break-in was reported. Part TWO: As far as the stay itself, the premium level rooms are decently comfortable. I only saw one centipede my whole two month stay, the bedding was nice and I liked the look they went for. The cost wasn't proportionate considering how poorly the property itself is maintained and how tiny the space is. TONI, the GM, is what ruined the entire experience. I have never felt so apprehensive to deal with a front desk as I have here and I travel A LOT. My background is in mgmt and sales. I'm new here, I make it an effort to be very friendly. Literally, LITERALLY, every single interaction was met with some passive aggressive stance or remark. No matter the request or intention I was constantly faced with an attitude and a confrontation. She would contradict herself with alarming regularity from the cleaning schedule or even something as minor as labeling trash bags. After seeing such a relaxed mask enforcement, I made the mistake of being at the door to ask a question in which she yelled at me for not having a mask, while she was still putting her's on (because she would only keep it on when a guest was in the office, even if other employees were present), and THE UNMASKED MAINTENANCE MAN was standing right next to me. This location doesn't provide anything for you, despite the hotel-level cost. They give you towels but it's your responsibility to wash them for the length of your stay. They give you a starter roll of toilet paper, but only allow you to get more when your weekly housekeeping is skipped, which happened frequently. Even with the toilet paper, Toni would roll her eyes every. single. time. I requested it and made a big deal about it being in the stockroom and would never actually bring it. No iron. Kitchen tools arent provided. Office hours are very tight. 11am-7pm, closed on Sundays. If you read the reviews, the management is frequently referenced and it's all exclusively regarding Toni. Her lack of compassion and near hostility to her guests is this place's biggest weakness. I'm still waiting to hear from corporate/upper management. Will update if contacted. Also going to see if I have any legal recourse or can file complaints with the county as I was in residence status when she demanded to enter my room with no notice for a facility inspection. Please, save yourself the risk and terrible experience. If you need a longer place to stay, there's still a few hotels that will work with you. Extended Stay America offers deep discounts for long stays and I'm so much happier. Safe travels!

This place had roaches in the bathroom. When my grandson would turn on the lights they came out. We terminated the stay the 3rd day of a two week reservation. Management would only return 1 week of the money when 2 weeks had been paid. This hotel stills owes me another $352.00. Management was not helpful at all

This place is horrible! And the manager Toni Difalco is extremely rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place at all! The manager also said they do not satanize the rooms. My stay was bad!
