Sole Suites

Sole Suites is NOT a hotel. It is a building of condos rented out. Because it’s not a hotel none of the amenities one expects from a hotel are available. There is no common area. There is a desk attendant (who, to be honest tried very hard to help) who has no resources. They are there to open the gate and take your payments. If they’re not at the desk—you can’t get in. If you need handicap access, you hope they spot you on the street waiting for them to open the gate to the garage/basement. We were often left standing in the hot street or climbing the steep-no railing stairs in front to yell through the front gate. There are no menus, brochures, activity literature whatsoever. The rooms are huge and modern, but VERY spare in the furnishings. E.g. there are no table lamps, or decor of any type. There are no outside chairs. One loveseat— some stools at the counter. The only light is glaringly bright and from the ceiling. The full kitchen had pots and pans, dishes and cups, very little silverware and No utensils. The air conditioning works well. You have to pay extra for them to clean up your room. Otherwise it does not get cleaned or tidied up. You have to get your own towels and tp if you don’t pay extra for services. They do not supply washcloths. The rooftop pool is small, but adequate. We couldn’t really use the pool though bc there are only 3 lounge chairs, and no umbrella or protection from the sun. At 112° (real feel) in the sun, no umbrella was a problem.

Perfect place

Rooms and space were very large. Staff was great to deal with. Very convenient to restaurants, shops, and the beach. It is in the middle of everything so expect loud music blasting until the early morning hours every day from the nearby clubs. In spite of that we slept well and were comfortable. The only negative thing to say is that the bathrooms do not have air conditioning. The rest of the spaces do but the bathrooms are very very hot.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very large and very comfortable place with the kitchen. But it is very close to fifth Avenue and the music is very loud at night. Ask for a room toward the back it’s much quieter.

Very clean spacious convienient

The employees were excellent and location was great in regards to shops and restaurants and beaches.

Good location. Clean. Staff was great.

The places are large and the staff is accomodating, but the noise from the nightclubs outside makes it unbearable... If you have kids or are looking for a quiet time look elsewhere. TRUST ME! The rooftop pool is such a miss, there's a TON of space and they've managed to put the smallest bathtub excuse of a pool. Inside the apartments are very large, however there is an awful smell of humidity, so much so that the couch and the chairs which are made of fabric have absorbed the smell and regardless how low you set the AC the room will still smell. All of that is fine, but the noise... until 3am you will be listening to 5 sounds simultaneously every single night.

Unit layout was great. In the centre of the action and beach but the noise from the clubs was too loud too late
