Holiday Inn Express Brooklyn - Kings Hwy by IHG

I note the other two terrible reviews (lol) but i can't say that was my experience. The hotel overall and room were pretty clean. the room itself was tiny but had all the essentials (queen bed/nightstand/ottoman and small side table/small wardrobe/iron and ironing board AND fridge and microwave so no complaints here. The bathroom was a decent size and only was missing body wash but i had my own anyway. my room faced the alley and even on the 3rd floor still lots of street noise but hey...its a holiday inn in brooklyn not trump tower so that wasn't a big deal. even better for me was a target & five below literally 2 doors down the street. the breakfast was slightly lacking and didn't have the signature cinnamon rolls but it was hot and free. the best part was they waived the deposit even though i arrived before check in and offered to wait for my room. Pretty decent guys. overall, i felt safe, it was clean and convenient so i'd stay again.

The third floor smelled like cigarettes and weed. I am pregnant and with my toddler not a great place to sleep in. Other than that the place is very accommodating. Won’t be staying here again the smell was horrendous.

Staff was helpful and was able to park at the location, will stay again.

The facility stinks

1st they say free parking but there's only 12 spaces total available. The halls smell like smoke as soon as the elevator opens up. The walls are very thin. You hear everything from the other rooms. There was nothing to drink for breakfast

We were not able to sleep at all due to constant commotion in the hall and banging on the doors let alone that there was so much smoke we had to pry our windows open to get some air. Probably our worst experience ever. We were actually frightened and thought about leaving but did not feel safe to get out. This was really bad!

Stay was comfortable parking was a fist come first park parking is limited hotel safe and secure

Friendly staff.

The staff was friendly but I did not like not having parking.
